Julia Brown is a results-driven PR and marketing strategist with extensive expertise in media relations, experiential and cultural marketing, influencer programs and partnerships as well as executive visibility. She enjoys works with both emerging and established brands to help them reach their next level of growth - be it for their initial launch or their 100th anniversary.
Julia is passionate about creating compelling brand stories that translate into prominent media coverage across all channels of communication from digital, social and traditional platforms to radio and broadcast outlets. Maintaining strong relationships with members of the press, influencers as well as social and business leaders, Julia enjoys building strategic bridges for her clients and providing platforms for them to showcase their thought leadership within the industry.
Having established her own PR consulting practice in 2007, which she continues to run while working with CIM, Julia is regularly sought after for her unique experience and perspective in the luxury lifestyle and real estate market. She has developed cutting edge programs for global brands such as Clear Eyes, Xtra Life Lycra, Acura, Ardbeg and Krug champagne, helping them to forge successful programs for prominent cultural events including Art Basel, Swim Week, Sundance Film Festival and NY Fashion Week.
Julia has also worked with an array of established real estate and corporate brands such as Metropica, a $1.5 billion dollar mixed-use project in Broward; Monaco Yacht Club; Canarias at Downtown Doral; Aventura Mall; Gadinsky Real Estate; MG Developers; and Foley Lardner.
Prior to launching her consulting career, Julia held a senior level position with a privately-owned PR firm, leading many of the agency’s top real estate, law and lifestyle accounts. She also previously helmed the regional office for Gen Art, a national marketing agency and incubator for emerging talent, where she managed cultural programming and partnerships, working with global lifestyle brands to help them engage with their target consumers.
Julia has been highlighted as a community leader by Ocean Drive magazine and is a graduate of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce’s yearlong Leadership Miami program. She holds a B.A. from the University of Michigan and a certificate in digital marketing.
